Marlies Bredel: Like any business, you really have to look and see who is your audience. Do your homework assessment. And who calls me are women from the age of 40 to about 75. That’s my audience.​

So, I wanted to create an environment, a logo, a company motto that surrounded—make when people call me, they feel at home, right? Our website is really our storefront.​

And women, when I know in my previous businesses, I always promoted that I was woman-owned because then women would want to support you. So, we’re better known as the Pink Ladies. Everything is branded Orlando Estate Sale. We have bougainvilleas on our website.​

Interviewer: right? And to make women—it looks like a storefront, with the flowers and everything.​

Marlies Bredel: So, it’s welcoming to women. And that’s who I get most of our calls from—98% women.
